HOW TO CONVERT FROM IRISH
POUNDS TO EURO
To convert an Irish pound amount to euro, divide
the Irish pound amount by 0.787564. Round the resulting euro amount
to two decimal places, that is to cent. Round down where the third figure
after the decimal point is 4 or lower; round up where it is 5 or higher.
For example:
IR£3.79 divided by 0.787564 = €4.8123073 which
rounds to €4.81
IR£1.99 divided by 0.787564 = €2.5267787 which rounds to €2.53
